Quick video today, I just to show you how you can locate your Facebook post ID. What is that? Well basically when you upload a post to a fan page, and then you want to run traffic to that particular post, often if you do the ad directly after making the post on your fan page it won’t appear. For example, I wanted to run an ad to this particular post, but because I had only just put this post up when I went to connect my Facebook fan page the post previous to this popped up, and I couldn’t figure out how I could get my original post, or this post to come up as an ad. What I did is I went to the actual post itself. You click on the image, for example, and then right at the top you get this long kind of ugly link. Got that link, came to this website FindPostID.com, and posted my whole ugly link in there, and hit get numeric ID, and it gives you this number string. You then take this number string, just bring this back, back into your ads manager. Click on enter post ID, you can put the post ID in here and hit submit, and it would automatically pull that up. If you’ve ever got a problem where by you put a post on one of your Facebook fan pages, and then straight after that you go into the ads manager to drive traffic to that post and it doesn’t appear.
